文化活动

　　国际奥委会的奥林匹克宪章规定，组委会必须为配合奥运会的召开举办一系列文化活动，这些活动应以促进奥运会参赛者和其他参加者之间的和谐关系、互相理解和良好友谊为宗旨。

　　文化活动旨在展现体育和艺术在美德、力量和成就方面的共同价值，促进举办城市和举办国的文化艺术发展和国际间文化交流，为宣传奥林匹克主义和奥运会提供一个动感、高水准的舞台。组委会可以成立专职部门负责这方面的事务。

　　Cultural Programme

　　The IOC Charter states that the Organising Committee must organise a programme of cultural events, and that this programme must serve to promote harmonious relations, mutual understanding and friendship among the participants and others attending the Olympic Games.

　　The role of the Cultural Programme is to highlight the shared values of sport and the arts in terms of excellence, endeavour and achievement; to promote the arts and culture of the host city and the host nation while embracing an international cultural dimension; and to provide a dynamic and high profile context for promoting Olympism and the Olympic Games. The OCOG may establish a functional area dealing with Cultural Programme aspects.

　　La Charte olympique stipule que le COJO doit organiser un programme de manifestations culturelles, lequel servira à promouvoir les relations harmonieuses, la compréhension mutuelle et l'amitié entre les participants et les autres personnes assistant aux Jeux Olympiques.

　　Le programme culturel a pour mission de souligner les valeurs partagées par le sport et les arts en termes d'excellence, d'effort et de réalisation, de promouvoir les arts et la culture de la ville et du pays hôtes tout en ayant une dimension internationale, et d'offrir un cadre visible et dynamique à la promotion de l'Olympisme et des Jeux Olympiques. Le COJO peut créer un secteur fonctionnel gérant les aspects du programme culturel.
