教育

　　教育部门是负责鼓励青年，并通过青年鼓励他们的家庭，理解和信仰奥运会的精神，树立参与和参加奥运会的意识；在奥运会的过程中，通过利用体现奥林匹克主义主旨的主题活动，如技术、文化多样性、环境、追求卓越、体育、全球化和友谊等以及学生或社区的兴趣活动，使他们最大限度地受益于教育和获得学习成果。奥运会组委会可以设立一个职能部门主管教育。

　　Education

　　The Education area is responsible for encouraging young people, and through them their families, to understand and embrace the spirit of the Olympic Games, building a sense of involvement and participation in the Games and maximising the educational benefit and learning outcomes for school students available through the Games by building on opportunities inherent in the themes that underpin Olympism (such as technology, cultural diversity, environment, pursuit of excellence, sport, globalisation and friendship) and student/community interest. The OCOG may establish a functional area dealing with Education aspects.

　　Le secteur éducation est chargé d'encourager les jeunes et, à travers eux, leurs familles, à comprendre et à embrasser l'esprit des Jeux Olympiques, à leur donner le sentiment de faire partie des Jeux et d'y participer et à profiter au maximum de l'enseignement et de l'apprentissage offerts aux élèves tout au long des Jeux en utilisant les possibilités inhérentes aux thèmes qui soulignent l'Olympisme (tels que technologie, diversité culturelle, environnement, quête de l'excellence, sport, mondialisation et amitié) et l'intérêt des élèves/de la communauté. Le COJO peut créer un secteur fonctionnel gérant les aspects de l'éducation.
